Print out the template. You can find the template at the bottom of this post.

The template is on two pages. The first page has the frog outline and the second page has bits that make up the frog craft.

Print the one with the frog in it on green paper and the second page on yellow paper.

Cut out the frog and all the little bits.

Glue the frog eyes to the frog.

Using the dotted lines as a guide, fold neatly in half.

Now cut along the thick line around the mouth.

Then fold along the dotted line  back and front to push open the mouth.

Now take the pop up mechanism and fold along the dotted lines.

Take an A4 paper and fold in half. Then glue the pop up mechanism to the folded paper.

Make sure the middle of the folded mechanism meets the folded crease of the paper.

Now take your folded frog and glue it to the pop up mechanism.

Do this by gently applyin glue to the front of the pop up mechanism.

Allow the glue sometime to dry and take hold. Now the frog should be able to pop up when you open the card.

Glue the flowers to stalk and stick on the to the pair rectangle paper previously cut.

This is just show a little bit of shrubbery or foliage around your frog.

Attach the two pieces of shrubbery to both sides of the frog.

Use glue to stick to the back of the frog’s legs.

This way the flowers pops up with the frog.

Decorate the inside and outside of the card with cuts of paper as you please.

I used heart and cound shape cutters to make the flowers.

Simply cut four hearts and one circle shape. Arrange the hearts and glue the circle in the middle.

Frogs are amphibious animals that can live in both land and water.

They have long legs which enable them to jump also known as a leap. I guess that is where the game leap frog comes from.

They can also swim in water using their long legs.

Frogs can drink water from under their skin in what is known as a “Drinking Patch” This is located under the frog’s belly and quite close to the frog’s thighs.

Through this drinking patch a frog can absorb water through its skin.

What do Frogs eat?

Frog love to eat different types of insects, worms and depending on the frog, small fish.

Frogs are cold blooded animals which means their body temperature will change based on the temperature of the surroundings

What is a group of Frogs called?

A group of frogs is called an Army. When it is time for them to breed and look for food, they do it collectively. Predators are less likely to succeed because of their large numbers
