Supplies needed
- Glue
- Dragon template
- Scissors
- White cardstock paper

Download and print the chinese dragon template.
If you using the plain template, there is extra fun to be had.
The Dragon face, scales and wings will need to be coloured.
You may use this as a teachable moment to explain the colours associated with the Chinese New Year celebrations.
Or they could do as IÂ did and use any colours that take their fancy.
Once the coloring is complete, it is time to cut out the pieces on the template required to put the dragon together.Â
Carefully cut around the sharp edges.
Take one of the strips orange strips and apply glue to the centre as pictured.
Take the head of the dragon and firmly stick it on to the glued surface.
Let it stick firmly.
