Whether you call it paper frills for turkey legs or lamb chop cuffs, this craft can be made in minutes.
Things you will need
- Paper
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Glue stick
How to make paper frills
- Cut your paper into a rectangle measuring 25cm by 15cm (9.84inches by 5.91 inches)
- Fold your rectangle in half length wise
- On the unfolded (open side), draw a horizontal line 2cm from the edge.
- Cut slits from the folded edge up to the horizontal line (This enables the slits to be somewhat even)
- Turn the paper from the inside out.
- Carefully roll the paper around your finger, a stick, candle or anything that fits the size the paper frills are to be used for.
- Carefully glue the edge shut.
You could use this same technique to make pom poms.
All you need to do is substitute plain or card paper for tissue paper and super size the measurements.
Glue a dowel to make pom pom handles.
