How to make your Christmas Elf Hat Craft with Free template

Let’s get festive and make out elf hats.

Materials needed

• Cardstock white paper
• Crayons or marker (if using plain template)
• Scissors
• Gluetick or glue gun
• Elf hat template

Instructions

Download and print your template on the white cardstock paper.

If using the pre-colored version, download, print and cut out the template.

However, If you are using the plain template, get your crayons or markers and start colouring.

Colour all parts of the elf hat on the template including the extenders.

Encourage the kids to use the right colours for the candy canes, holly sprigs and Christmas bells.

Colouring complete.

Now cut out every piece of the template using the scissors.

Based on the size of the head of the kid in question, you may need more than two extenders so feel free to cut more as needed.

So that means more colouring and cutting fun for the kids.

Now glue the top half of the hat to the bottom half.

Make sure they are stuck firmly to each other.

Glue the golden bells to the hat. Glue the bells firmly on the tips so that they stick out.

Now it is time to glue the extenders to each side of the hat. Apply glue to the edge of the extender.

Stick to the side of the hat. Let it hold.

Your elf hat is complete.
